Summer 2011 Classes
Hola Papis! Hi Parents!
Spanish 4 Kids of SpanishDC, LLC, is forming our Spanish summer classes.
We will start our classes on May 31 and June 2nd. The schedule and description of classes is listed below.
The summer session is 10 classes:
5 classes in JUNE
3 classes in JULY (no class the first week of July)
2 classes in AUGUST (the first 2 weeks of August)
The total cost of the session is: $120 (10 classes)
(Siblings have a reduced rate of $10 per class.)
Accommodations made for vacations.
We are going to have a Registration Event on Tuesday, May 24th, between
4 and 5pm. You will be able to meet and discuss the programs with us,
meet other parents/children, and sign up. Also students from previous
classes are going to welcome the new children with songs and games.
Former parents can talk to you and give their impressions of our classes :-)

Our summer schedule (subject to a minimum registration of 5
children in each class).
All of our classes are taught by native Spanish speakers as it is especially
important for children to learn the accurate sounds and pronunciations.
Thursdays at 3:00 PM children 6 - 8 yrs old. (1 hour class). [Many of the
children will come from Crestridge Elementary school.]
Our program include multiple centers of interest that can fill out the
vocabulary needs in the process of learning a second language. We will
study animals, the zoo, plants and insects, flowers, fruits, places of
interest in summer. Dramatize going to the toy store. Make puppets and
make them talk in Spanish. Greetings and basic to complex dialogs will
be learned. We will build our neighborhood and learn the professions of
people working in it. Some children will write down the sentences we
learned during the class. After 4 weeks parents will receive the list of
subjects that we have covered and one evaluation of your child. Just to
know how the learning process is doing.

Thursdays at 4:00 PM Children 3.5 - 5.5 yrs old. (1 hour class)
Summer is a great time to explore outdoors. We are going to became
Spanish Explorers. Our backyard will teach us a lot. From the water
games, to the camping tent, births, plants, obstacle races and much
more. With motors skills, we will learn the many action words that we
will need to travel overseas. We will dramatize a restaurant. We will
learn the names of the food and also cook fruit salad and Latino foods.
Rainy days will be for inside activities. To dramatize short stories in
Spanish and to show parents at the end of the month!

Tuesdays at 4:15 PM children 3 - 3.5 yrs old (40 minute class)
Play, dance, sing, and more play. From the body experiences to the
world. Sensory experiences with water, soft materials, colorful blocks,
balls and song! Moms/dads/nannies are more than welcome to stay and
learn with your child.

Be assured that at Spanish 4 Kids, all of our classes are taught by native
Spanish speakers with credentials to teach a second language. It is
especially important for children to learn the accurate sounds and
pronunciations and you don't want to lose the opportunity for the best
instruction at the most impressionable age.
